This website is operated by Houseofwallpaper.co.uk (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility & consumer use

Our website is intended for customers aged 18+. By placing an order, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into a contract.

We sell primarily to consumers. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business and require trade terms, please contact us before ordering.

3. Products & made-to-order production

All wallpapers sold on Houseofwallpaper.co.uk are printed to order based on the options you select (e.g., dimensions, quantities, finish, or other specifications shown on the product page).

• Product images are for illustration purposes. Colours may vary due to screen settings and lighting.

• We recommend ordering a sample (if available) before purchasing larger quantities.

• It is your responsibility to ensure measurements and specifications are correct before checkout.

4. Ordering & contract formation

4.1 How an order is placed
A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from us.

4.2 Right to refuse or cancel an order
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including (but not limited to):

• suspected fraud or unauthorised payment

• incorrect pricing due to an obvious error

• production limitations or stock issues of materials
  If we cancel after payment, you will be refunded in full.

5. Prices, VAT & payment

• Prices shown on the site are in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

• Where applicable, prices include VAT. Delivery charges are displayed at checkout.

• We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price charged will be the price shown at checkout.

• Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the payment methods offered on our checkout.

6. Promotions & discount codes

If we offer discount codes or promotions:

• codes must be entered at checkout to apply

• discounts usually exclude delivery unless stated

• promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated

• we may amend or end promotions at any time

• promotions are subject to availability

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery address
Delivery will be made to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address details are complete and correct.

7.2 Delivery times
Any delivery times shown are estimates. Because products are printed to order, dispatch times may vary. We aim to dispatch within a reasonable timeframe, and delays caused by carriers are outside our control.

7.3 Risk and title

• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

• Title to the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full (including delivery charges).

8. Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, you must contact us within 14 days of delivery at :

Please include:

• your order number

• clear photos of the issue and packaging (if damaged)

• a short description of the problem

Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement, reprint, or refund depending on the circumstances.

If you discover a manufacturing defect or non-conformity later on, you remain protected by the applicable legal warranty.

9. Cancellations, returns & refunds (made-to-order policy)

Because our wallpapers are printed to order, we operate two distinct cancellation/return windows: a short pre-production cancellation window (section 9.1) and a 14-day right of return after delivery (section 9.2).

You also remain fully covered for items that are faulty, damaged, or not as described, as set out in section 8.

9.1 Cancellation window

We allow a short cancellation window before production begins:

• Within 24 hours of payment : orders can be modified or cancelled for a full refund

• After 24 hours : production preparation begins and orders can no longer be modified, cancelled, or refunded unless the item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect (see section 8).

9.2 14-day right of return (change of mind)

Even though our wallpapers are printed to order, we choose to offer a 14-day right of return after delivery, in addition to your statutory rights, under the following conditions:

• You must notify us of your intention to return the item within 14 days of receiving the order at contact@houseofwallpaper.co.uk
• The item must be returned to us within 14 days of your notification.
• The product must be in its original condition, unused, not installed, and in its original packaging, in resaleable condition.
• Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
• We will refund the price of the product to your original method of payment.

9.3 Refund processing times

If a refund is approved, it will be returned to your original payment method. Times vary by provider and bank.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence

• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• any matter that cannot be limited under applicable law

Subject to the above:

• we are not liable for losses resulting from events outside our reasonable control (carrier delays, disruptions, etc.)

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profits) arising from the use of our products or delays in delivery

11. Intellectual property

All website content (text, images, designs, branding, graphics, logo) is owned by House of Wallpaper or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without written permission.

12. Privacy & marketing

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you opt in to marketing communications, you agree we may email you offers and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller’s place of establishment (France).
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
